New York: The Global Capital Of Culture 31 May 2019
Yıldız Entegre greets everyone from this month’s “Chasing the Tree” journey! Every month we travel through a new city and do our best to share details about its architecture, culture and art scene, and unique structures. This month, our destination is New York; the city of dreams, the city that never sleeps, the city that boasts the best of trade, finance, media, art, fashion, and so much more! New York holds the title of the global capital of culture by incorporating a multi-cultural scene and contributing to a variety of industries from art to fashion and tourism. Don’t be fooled by its concrete look - New York is home to world-renowned greeneries and continues to be one of the leading urban destinations where people get to enjoy proximity to nature. New York offers a rich variety of options to both locals and visitors. Boasting numerous parks and gardens, it surprises many visitors by its inclusion of nature in an urban sphere. Central Park, Lowline Lab, Brooklyn Bridge… This city is not only the heart of the global trade and finance, it’s also famously known as the city that heartily embraces nature that surrounds it. Brimming with must-see places including the American Museum of Natural History, Times Square, Little Italy, Chinatown, Madison Square Garden, and the Madame Tussaud Museum, New York is one of the cities that everyone has to visit at least once. Neighborhoods like Little Italy and Chinatown are the foremost examples of the city’s multicultural structure. We were impressed by New York and hope that you’ll feel the same!
