MILE STONES

* 1890 Hasan Yıldız started timber trade in Trabzon in 1890s.  

* 1930 Yıldız family, immigrating to Samsun, Bafra from Trabzon established the first timber atelier at the beginning of 1930s. Salih Yıldız became the head of the establishment.

* 1957 The operations continued in Samsun after 1957. Besides timber, other forestry products started to be produced.

* 1972 The corporate establishment was realized with the foundation of Yıldız Mobilya A.Ş. in 1972. The company started to import trunks and sell them. Moreover, products such as fiberboard and plywood started to be sold in the Black Sea Region.

* 1990 A new link was introduced in accordance with the integrated mentality in 1990: An adhesive plant was established in Samsun under the title Yıldız Kimya A.Ş.

* 1996 Together with the increasing production in fiberboard and MDF industry, the second adhesive plant started to operate in İzmit in 1996.

* 2001 Was a turning point for the company. The establishment founded the first MDF plant with 1000m3/day capacity and started production.  

* 2002 The investment in electricity generation of 6.2 MW was completed to meet the electricity need of the company.

* 2003 The investment in MDF Profile was completed in 2003.

* 2004 The first production in laminate parquet production was realized under the brand Vario Clic in 2004.

* 2005 The second MDF plant with 1000m3/day capacity started production in 2005.

* 2006 The production in MDF Door was started in 2006 under the brand Variodor.

* 2006 The investment in the 2nd Laminate Parquet was completed in 2006.

* 2007 The company completed the investment in the third MDf plant and broke its own record with the capacity of 3000m3/day.

* 2007 The investment in electricity generation of 13 MW was completed to meet the electricity need of the company.

* 2007 The investment in Dyed Back- Dyed Parquet and Dyed Plate.

* 2007 The investment in (2) Processing Plants has started.

* 2007 The investment in Door Panel (Doorskin) has started.
 
 
It challenges the top 50 in the ranking of the Top 500 Industrial Establishments realized by the Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul. The company ranks the 87th among top 500.
